‘Live Tourism’ Workshop 23rd June

East Lindsey District Council are funding a piece of work to look at what needs to be done to further support tourism on the coast and a company called ‘Live Tourism’ will be running a workshop session on Thursday 23rd June at the Bacchus Hotel, Sutton on Sea from 18.30 – 20.30. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. We would like to invite you to attend. Please can you let the town centre manager, Karen Froggatt, (01507 474438) know by Monday 20th June if you are able to attend?

Tourism is important for East Lindsey and the Lincolnshire coast.
The Bad?
Competition for customers is increasing while funding for tourism marketing and development is decreasing.
The Ugly?
The closure of Visit Lincolnshire shows how vulnerable tourism is.

We have to concentrate effort and resources on the areas that deliver real improvements to your bottom line profits. So in the nicest possible way we’d like to pick your brains. Please join Live Tourism’s Mandy and Jackie on Thursday 23rd June at the Bacchus Hotel, Sutton on Sea from 18.30 – 20.30.

Although with a serious purpose, the session will be loads of fun and filled with passionate opinions, local knowledge and business expertise. There’s no homework required – just bring your willingness to offer memorable holiday experiences and enthusiasm to make money.

The end result will be a practical action plan designed to be achievable, realistic and carrying business support. And in years to come you’ll be able to say ‘I did that’.
